SPECIAL EVENTS: SPACE DAY
Lockheed Martin Space Day at TCU was held on Friday,
May 6, 2005
Students
from area schools participate in hands-on science experiments to learn about
the NASA/JPL Deep Impact mission. Students did experiments related to rockets,
comets, craters, and spectroscopy.
Dr.
Doug Ingram, TCU astronomy and physics professor, debunks the bad science in
the movies "Deep Impact" and "Armageddon."
