Location

The Monnig Meteorite Gallery is located on the campus of TCU in Fort Worth. Our physical street address is 2950 W. Bowie. The gallery is housed in room 240 of the Sid W. Richardson Building.

Policies

To provide an effective and safe learning environment for all involved, the Monnig Meteorite Gallery has instituted the following policies.

Absolutely no gum, food, or drinks are allowed in the gallery or the lab rooms. Food and drinks need to be stored in coolers and/or large boxes or containers and stored in the Monnig Meteorite Gallery office.

Students are not allowed to bring backpacks into the gallery or the lab rooms.

Parent/teacher supervision is a requirement. There must be 1 adult (parent/teacher) present for every 10 students. Teachers and parents must remain with their student groups throughout the program, including lunch.

Discipline is the responsibility of the teacher and parents. Unruly and uncooperative students will be removed and will not be allowed to further participate in the program.

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your program. This allows plenty of time for check-in and restroom visits. Call 817-257-6277 is you are experiencing delays on the day of your visit. If you are running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but keep in mind that your delay may leave us no alternative than to cancel your program due to impossible time constraints.

Please stress to your students and parent helpers that this is a college campus and classes are always in progress. Students should conduct themselves on the TCU campus as they do at their own school campus.
